Hallowe'en

The way we used to spell it in the olden days when Hallowe'en was the evening before All hallows day and not just " Trick or Treat"

So glad the village children here ( apart from two small groups ) didn't yell " Trick or Treat" when we opened the door. There they were , dressed up in their " Guising " costumes and ready to sing for us. We heard renderings of " Bat out of Hell " , Highway to Hell" " Mama Mia " , even a really funny version of " Twinkle , Twinkle Little Star " from a lively group of teenagers, superb harmonising too in this take of the Britain's Got talent singer. What a lot of work to entertain us.

A great fun evening from tots to teenagers. So glad we had lots of goodies for the children to reward them for their performances. John off course got into the act , not content with helping with the decorations for our Witches den he dressed up as well as you can see here. he was probably more scary then the guisers.
