Hazard

When we moved into this house with a 6 month old baby, we didn't really think through the logistics of what life would be like with open tread stairs and a toddler. They used to be open plan too, but as soon as Boo started walking, up went the bannister. There's not much we can do about the open tread though. He does try to post things through the gaps every day, including (occasionally) himself, although thankfully he has developed a sense that this isn't a very wise thing to do. I am relieved to be moving out fairly soon though, as these stairs constantly have me on edge, which I am sure any mother of a toddler will understand!
