Occupy the Streets

St Andrews Square was invaded a couple of weeks ago by some tents. It wasn't quite clear what they were there for; more than one person said to me they thought it was a tent show. The camp was very regular and tidy, and the tents all looked new, so that wasn't so daft; but it was wrong.

This is Edinburgh's anti-bankers and anti-capitalism protest. And perfectly located right in the centre of Edinburgh's financial sector. This picture shows the Royal Bank's headquarters in the background. I noticed there were more security men around than usual.
