Gainin Momentum - Crown No1

This is where I am currently at with my latest stove restoration. My mission tonight was to place the recently bent up sheetmetal body onto the base and drill all the holes.

It is a tight fit in places and not so in others but when I am ready to assemble the stove for real and start tightening everything up I am confident that it will all fit nice and snug.

Unfortunately this is all a dress rehearsal. Next time I work on it I will be pulling it all to bits so that I can put some heatproof paint on it.

I can look at it at the moment and start to genuinely visualize how the finished stove will look.
