Take flight

What was I thinking. Dull and grey day, light fading , slow telephoto on a dx sensor, then go try shooting a pheasant in the front paddock. Like that was ever going to impress the nature photogs!

But then thinking about it in post processing, listening to the news of the Rena out there stuck on the reef for nearly a month, the cracks are getting bigger and the storm has hit. The wind and rain are lashing down right now. 5 metre swells predicted out there. Take flight little bird , take flight.

I may not have known it , but that was what I was thinking.
