Caged
A very depicting blip for my observations today..
Was returning from office today and saw all my cab-mates/colleagues still on phones after office hours instructing others.. This continues even when they reach home.. (Thanks to my parents it is not the case with my family)...
This led to a number of other questions and finally I realized that we are caging ourselves with our daily routines of office and stuff but not realizing (or the realization comes very late) the importance of family and freedom..
When I asked them when was it the last time they enjoyed the wind flowing through windows rolled down, or saw their kid playing, they just smiled...
Had tough time trying to picture what they achieve, other than in monetary terms...
So take a break, enjoy the non-air conditioned moments, the smile of your kid, the sound of rain, walks along with your family, gossip with your mom, teasing your father, trying new recipes with your loved ones....
List goes on...
