It's a dogs life!

Did you just say chicken??

Hee hee, here I am after mum was doing the chicken holler at the top of her voice this afternoon on our walk. It took me a while to come to her, just as she was getting worried I appeared on the top of the bank! I like to keep her on her toes you know ;-)

Talking of which, I have been feeling VERY naughty since last night. I think the spirits of Halloween have possessed me. Mum says she is sure it is a devil?!

This is what I have done:

At agility last night I didn't listen to a word......not one word mum said. She would put me in the sit and wait at the beginning of some jumps, then .........when she said GO...... I shot off sideways doing zoomie bumtucks around the arena and throwing myself on my back for Chico and Blue. I NEVER came when mum called, in fact once I stopped what I was doing, stared at her and teacher doing a merry dance to look exciting, then shot off sideways again doing zoomie bumtucks and jumping in the hedge for a sniff.

It wasn't a successful evening. In fact mum has said that we are not going to agility anymore, in the New Year I am starting The Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold obedience courses. Only then mum says that I can either go back to agility or maybe try something else. Mmmmmm I am not sure about that, it sounds BORING!

This morning we went for a walk in the field to find my best wrestling friend Dillon. Yay we found him, so I shot off across the field for a play, but then.....I shot right past him and threw myself in the stinky creek! I completely ignored the chicken holler, the water was MUCH better. Then I got out and shot off across the field and threw myself down in a GIANT patch of fox poop. Oh boy, Oh boy I smelt GORGEOUS. Then........I shot off after a gorgeous Red Setter called Murphy and stole his ball, then I jumped up at his owner to try and kiss her. All the while, ignoring mum's frantic chicken hollering and the fact she was running all over the field after me or doing her dance to try and get me to come.

THEN....when I finally got home I REFUSED point blank to go upstairs for a bath. Mum had to drag me up there and lift me into the bath, covering herself in fox poop too *giggle* she smelt GREAT!

Then I jumped out of the bath and soaked her and wouldn't let her dry me. It was SO MUCH FUN.

For some reason I was banished to the kitchen for the rest of the morning??!

This afternoon we went out again (even though mum said this morning I WAS NOT going out again today!) so I thought I would try and behave a bit better! I did some lovely posing for some photos and came back most (but not all) times that mum called. I wasn't allowed off my lead for too long, I don't know why though? She is not very patient is she??

Bye for now
