Sunset

Lovely sunny and warm day today. Chores in the morning. An animal feed rep arrived after lunch to discuss the winter diet of our beef animals. The conclusion was we could feed a lot of what we already have on the farm and buy in some other feed for the younger calves -thereby saving money!

T and P wormed all the cattle that have recently come in under cover for the winter. That all went well without a hitch through our new system.

I drove to our last WEA lecture before Christmas. This week we touched on Global Warming and it is interesting how science when the politicians grab hold of it can be very misleading when presented through the media.

On the way back up the hill I noticed these cows (which are hardly visible!) grazing in the sunset.
