View From the Verandah

Now that we're working on the hard landscaping around the house, it's important to remember the country landscape beyond our boundary and make sure all blends harmoniously.

This shot was taken from the verandah (see yesterday's blipfoto to orientate yourself).

We were so lucky that the site already had this 'lakelet' dug into the natural clay and fed by streams draining the town behind us.
