Augmented reality birthday

What a great day for a birthday!

The sun was shining, the sky was blue. Got lovely presents from family, cards and many Facebook wishes too. Daughter had ordered gift via an on-line site, and son had made me my very own level on Little Big Planet 2!

Augmented Reality presentation this morning at the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group meeting, quick catch up chat, then off to town to buy Mum's birthday present. Quick visit to M&S for party food. Round to the house to find that roof going on fast and new extension at front looks rather more substantial than of late.

Chat via SKYPE and returning lots of FB messages, then fun meal with all the family at the table at the same time - including conversations with the kids about all manner of things. They have dire warnings about use of the Internet from school. Daughter says I should come to school some time to talk about the good things which can happen on the Internet, as they're always being told about the bad stuff.
