Day forty-five: finishing what you start

This evening, my dear friend K and I participated in a 3.6 mile walk/run. It was in memory of a MSU football player who died last year; his jersey number was 36.

K and I had a great time walking and talking and catching up. We both said we need to do this more often; "this" referring to exercising and talking.

While on our walk, there was an older gal who said this was her first race. She said she didn't care if she had to be pulled across the finish line; she was going to finish.

K and I both admired her positive attitude and spirit.
