Looking In

Day 3 in the new office and yep, tidy-ups still going on. List sent to the project manager of things to address. But one important thing got ticked off. The coffee machine got plumbed in. Many happy people.

Then home for a quick dinner, a wine, and some computer maintenance. Yes, somehow despite some of the best Anti-virus protection you can get, you guessed it, more virus. On two computers.

And then ironically out to a school event discussing cyber-safety for your kids. Including malware. I know, I know - been there done that. Have to say, in general, because I work in IT, I think we're on the right track with the kids. Teach them about online safety and security, and making friends with real people.

Then home to fix the issues. Sigh, you'd think I'd know better. But I've checked the settings and they should have been picked up. Looks like they came in on a USB stick. Blast.

Let's hope someone's not been looking in ...
