Huh?!?!?

Not at all sure what this door is there for...it seems to have no purpose, being located over the veranda and under the eaves of the house with not way to get to it...other than climbing onto the roof of the veranda and even then you would be hard pushed to be able to reach it!!!...and why has it a padlock on it????

curiousity is killing me now!
