The Mrs.

I once had a sparrow alight upon my shoulder for a moment, while I was hoeing in a village garden, and I felt that I was more distinguished by that circumstance that I should have been by any epaulet I could have worn.

Henry David Thoreau
US Transcendentalist author (1817 - 1862)

Then there's the Mr. wielding his strong beak filled with a shelled peanut. I chose the drab but beautiful Mrs. Many find them pests, we find them beautiful and part of the back garden in all seasons . The Bluejays and the ever present Nelson wanted to be showcased, but in the end, I went with the brown eyed Mrs.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and cool, a perfect Autumn day.
