But hang on, it's 2nd November! Surely these should be shrivelled on the vine by now? Well I suppose it's not just us who are confused by the weather.

I used to think that the passion in this flower and fruit was something to do with hanky panky. I now know that it refers to the 'passion' of Jesus (ie his suffering in the hours before his crucifixion). We live and learn.
