Ooh Goody!
Since we have lived in this house two of our 'locals' are lorst and gawn.
The final remaining one limped along, offering less than exciting fare and we feared she would also go the way of so many little pubs.
But Joy!
She now sports a lick of outside paint (which you'll see glistening in the image!)
Having undergone a total 'Gok-worthy' chic refurb she's even more inviting inside than out! Posh menu and everything!
Are we lucky or what??!
Finally, many thanks for the kind words about our dog. He has (in a fourteen year old way) rallied for now. I carried him into the garden, and steadied him for 'the duration'. Then he noticed the bird table, and felt he might like to totter over to it under his own steam...
Lo! A few crumbs later and he recovered the use of his useless front leg and his ear!
Animals and children eh? ... There's no knowing!
I'm cautiously positive and grateful for 'extra time' :-)
