A Dozen eggs and a cauliflower please?

I had a huge surprise waiting for me when I got home today.

Mr G has taken a few days off work this week and is really making the most of it.

I would describe Mr G's outlook on life as 'can cook, but won't cook'

But today everything changed.

I came home to the delicious smell of macaroni cheese, one of my favourites.

And it was delicious.

Apparently as I've not been sleeping well lately and have been dragging myself about, he took pity on me and thought the last thing I'd want to do after a day's work is cook dinner.

How right he is.

Oh, and the cauliflower?, well I needed eggs and went to get some after work from my Egg Lady who lives down the road. She sells her homegrown fruit and veg too but I couldn't see any cauliflowers.

I've been thinking about a roasted cauliflower recipe I'd like to try but I wasn't able to get a cauliflower in Sainsbugs on Sunday.

When low and behold Mr Egg Lady (that doesn't sound right) appear with two magnificent specimens of cauliflower and I chose this one.

It's huge.

I'm going to have to think of an addition recipe to use it all. Oh well, that's a good problem to have.
