The Gardiner Xpressway

Down town Toronto and the beginning of 2 hrs of stop and go and rubberbanding traffic.

Today is the anniversary of D-Day and there was much mention of the heroism of the Canadian [and the other allies] troops in the taking ofJUNO BEACH. We forget today in this era of mechanized war the how difficult these times were and how much we owe to these soldiers. Some more thought could maybe turn the world away from war as a solution of problems.
