Giving this a go...

Very proud Mummy.

Cameron (and the rest of his class) has a 'writing book' that they are encouraged to write whatever they want in. He wrote a story in half term and his teacher was so impressed she sent him to the Head's office to show her and get this special prize.

Then tonight he went to bed fine but then spent the next 45 minutes being a devil child. His bed was pinging (??) then he wasn't tired then that degenerated into that crying a child only does when exhausted while shouting I'm not tired down the stairs. Then he got more and more rude, shouting at me and demanding I admit he wasn't tired. At one point Andrew even got up and told him to be quiet!
I was sooooooo angry with him. Can't understand how they can swing from such extremes. I'm wondering if he's sickening for something as that'd be the only logical explanation for behaviour like that.

Anyway here's his story. All spellings and grammar are as he wrote them which was with very minimal help from me.

Once apon a time thare was some knights. Thay livde in a big castle. This is it.
(he stuck in a pop up castle we made here)
They went out to fight dragons. The dragons tried to breathe fire but that didn't work! So they tried to eat the knihgts. One of the knihgts maniged to sneek up behind the dragons. He climed up the dragons and choped off all of their heads!
