12 years to get here

This is a door panel. A stripped of paint door panel. It has taken me 12 years to get here. I have stripped (by hand) every door in the house. I have stripped all the hall (upstairs and down - and the stairs) skirting/ door surrounds and I have stripped the banisters in their entirety, including the hidden bits underneath. 12 bloody years. It was worth it as I will never have to gloss any of it and they look wonderful. Now I have to oil this one Dior and job done. Then I can start removing the varnish from a nest of tables that must be done by Christmas. Piece of cake.
