Halloween joy

This picture is not representative of the whole day. It was great fun for all.
Except when Aine picked on me while we played Uno.

The morning was devoted to more beach/wellies/raincoats fun. In full shouty negative mode this time.
The little ones had a great bubble bath (Mimi is still raving about it, she is almost ripe for the scented candles and floating rose petals...)

Then the kids and one adult still miraculously untouched by maturity got their faces painted, donned their costumes and headed to the Spanish Armada for a pint and chips (or Ribena andc chips with extra ketchup).
Back home it was (mostly) fun and games. It's a pity that the barnbrack contains only one ring (found twice in a row by Eva) and the last chair in the musical chairs can only accomodate one bum...

Another day with loads of rejects, and I am not talking about our kids here...
