A seasider's view

I can't resist lines...

OK, so I'm rubbish at getting the perspective right with lines, but I do love them.

This is the new Strathclyde uni building on Cathedral Street, which I've passed a lot recently. I'm so-so in my enthusiasm for new architecture (I studied history so I'm really more a fan of "old" things generally), but I think this building is the bees knees. It looks as if it will age well, and it really attracts the eye along its lines and differing shades and surfaces.

No idea what it's like inside - but peeking through the street-side windows, it doesn't look a sterile vacuum like so many new places.
