Five minutes peace
Wow looking back on today I can't believe how much I have achieved. I think any moment now I may fall asleep! SEN this morning and I got loads done. My aim is by next week to actually see some children! Then to try and make a difference!
At dinner time I worked half of it then zoomed into town and had 5 minutes peace on the beach with my camera. I wish I could have stayed there all day. The tide was coming in (I nearly got soaked -returned to work with sand n sea splashes- nice)! The birds were hyper and stayed really close as they could smell food (not me)! The fishy smell was overwhelming (nope it still wasn't me)! Then a quick zoom to Tesco to get essentials lacking in my fridge. All done and back to work in 30 minutes! Result.
Teaching Science all afternoon -food groups and a balanced diet. I pulled a group out at a time and played a plate game with them. They loved it. It is so nice to be able to teach through fun activities and for once I didn't plan too much and it was a steady pace through the afternoon.
Staff meeting after work on Science. Some good stuff and loads more ideas now for AT1. Left work as soon as it had finished 5pm to pick my little one up. He's such a little joy at the moment, saying things like, "You might not believe this but I think you are gorgeous ...I do ...you're the best!" Gotta love him. He knows how to wrap me round his little finger.
Just finished marking 30 Science books and at nearly midnight I am going to collapse into bed!
