Folk and flute

Sold cakes all morning making a profit of £60 to go towards the uni octopush club :D ...they were good cakes :)

Then went to the post-grad fair... still not sure what I'm doing, or even where?!

After chatting to my gran and a few other friends I met Rosie B and walked to a pub in Llanbadarn for an Irish folk music session :) Brilliant fun, though a little scary as there were only 5 players including myself, no other flautists and no music!! :o Plus a crowd of people who had come to listen :o

All worked out okay, you just have to diddley diddley your way in the right places... though sure on occasion I was diddling up while they were diddling down :P We'll call it harmonising :P Hope you all understand this technical music language...

Now bedtime :)

As some of you may have noticed, this was posted and taken in the early hours of this morning!! So, consequently I have another day to write up underneath :P Lucky I also took a picture earlier in the day, yesterday... hope that makes sense!!

So today, got up, did a bit of reading, went for a run, went to 4hrs of lectures, had tea then went to another folk group - a Welsh one this time :) Really good fun with far more people... though a lot easier, still none of the little black dots to play from!! Had an amazing (and apparently famous) harpist with us :)
