Transformation

Another week, another storm. Colorado does love to send them a week apart. The melting of the last snow left behind trees suddenly stripped bare, or trees still clinging to dead and shriveled leaves. Neither is particularly visually pleasing. But throw a blanket of snow on those bare branches (or power line - did you catch that?) and it is suddenly quite beautiful.

My recent bout of long, stressful work days are finally done (for now). It's amazing what a great workout, good night sleep and some wonderful falling snow can do for the soul. (It doesn't hurt that the workout involved kicking pads held by you opponent - great way to work out that stress)

Unfortunately, the snow doesn't seem to be lasting long (although we got a lot of it again ~8~10"). Hopefully my transformed days stick around a bit longer.
