Scoot!
Happiness is, walking the wee one to nursery.
I love this little walk. (well, scoot) it gives me time to think every morning. The only time of the day I have very little else to think about. As the leaves turn brown, and the ground gets damp, it gets prettier every day.
Had a pretty stress free day at work, but lots of busy phonecalls to the bank, which ended up a big.... Call this number, now call this number, phone them back, then phone us back... Etc etc. Am in the middle of getting a mortgage. It seemed ridiculously simple in the beginning. Hey ho... Each day I'm a step closer. :-)
I googled an old friend today, just because he was on my mind. I had seen another friend if his at the weekend, and we were talking about the old days. I bumped into him at new year, and wondered how he was now. (and I am I bit of a google addict) I found his obituary. It was so sad to see. I hadn't seen him before new year, for around ten years, and was glad to hear he was doing well. So Sad to think that six months later he had died. I have no idea how. he must have been about 35.
Just another lesson In how fleeting life can be, and how the little things just don't matter. I am being sent a lot of these lessons right now.
in the end it doesn't matter who you were, how much money you have, or what possessions you have, it only matters who's life you touched along the way.
Hope you had a lovely day. :-)
