Flower Power
Today I went on one of my favourite walks. The mornings are completely free for me until 12 noon when C arrives back from school, J then rolls in around 2.45pm. So, having a free morning I went for a walk armed with my camera. I went past Nim Shue Wan beach which was having a much needed clean up as it's normally littered with all sorts of rubbish! Nim Shue Wan itself has a small community of people living in what they call squatters huts, some look very temporary, others a little more sturdy. I always get the feeling that they are living in perfect harmony though, despite the obvious living conditions.
I enjoyed taking photos today, but can only show one here (unless someone knows if I am able to post a link to more photos?) and funnily enough I decided not to post the huts, or the wild papaya trees or pretty tropical flowers that I encountered along the way only this common wild flower that you see everywhere - but I like it!
I am acutely aware that I have just over 5 weeks left in Hong Kong, must do some more walking and picture taking while I can...
