1st Night

Dia de Difuntos - Day of the Dead - is an important holiday in most of Latin America.

Families spend time in cemeteries with their deceased loved ones (and with one another). Plastic flowers and candles abound adorning the graves. There are food and beverage vendors along the perimeter of the cemeteries.

Here in Ecuador we've been granted 3 days of vacation... so today marked the beginning of the 5-day weekend! May the drinking commence!
