Let's drink and be merry?

I'm looking for a venue for hubby's 40th birthday in Jan. Went to one after work and the gave me a taster of a new ale. We're looking for a pub that sells more of the ale and less of the black stuff. Scottish stay tired of the black stuff.
Another day of bad health news from friends. Been a lot of it lately. Maybe time to drink and be merry and try and enjoy now!
