All's well in the Shire Gandalf

Walking around town in 23 degrees of sunshine a lady asked me "Chilly isn't it?". Later in the day I was surfing tinternet for some hiking sandals and read the following review,

"I am disappointed with these. They are not waterproof, after some field walking mine leak at the toe. They will be going back to the shop."

Has the world gone mad?
