immovable object

I now have the correct tool for removing the freewheel from the rear wheel of newoldbike, but now need a wrench a couple of times longer in order to get the leverage to remove it without feeling like the next incremental bit of pressure is going to drive the handle through my knuckle-skin into the bone. The internet appears to advise immobilising the freewheel and tool in a vice then turning the wheel, so I shall have to find something which wants to pretend to be a vice which will probably end up being the workstand currently supporting oldbike up in the loft. On the plus side I finally managed six consecutive catches after spending a few minutes each day trying to juggle for the past week, after buying the balls years ago but never really sitting down and working purposefully at them. Six isn't much but it's at least one complete cycle and therefore involves having successfully used both my catch-fumbling hands at some point.
