Fall

The increasing wind has brought down many of the beautiful leaves from this row of stunning cherry trees. Sadly, I discovered today that this will be the last time we will witness their loveliness as they are destined for the chop to make way for a housing development. I know we need more houses, but do the trees really have to go? As Joni Mitchell so wisely sang, now don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got till it's gone, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot.
