Drying out

Decided to go to The Knapps today. Arrived in time for the geese taking off, but photo is not that great, had a wander around and came across this Cormorant (Think that is what it is) it was sitting very still , then when I got closer it decided to go for a swim. It was gone under water for some time and when it resurfaced got back on to its perch to dry out and spread its wings
