Century

This is a photo of my Grandfather which has only recently come into my possession.

The shot was taken in 1918/19 when he was either 14 or 15 years old. What we do know is that he lied about his age to join the army.

He looks nothing like me. He looks nothing like my Dad. But he looks a lot like my son, peering out at me from nearly a century ago.
