Murmuration of starlings!

We went to Gretna this afternoon hoping to see a murmuration of starlings.

We were rewarded with a splendid display of thousands of starlings displaying! It is an amazing sight just as it is getting dark!

Last year we saw a similar display in Carlisle, and last week we saw them near Rheged in Penrith. If you get the chance to see a display do take it!

Yesterday's 'Traffic Jam' hit the Spotlight. Thanks! The farmer should buy a couple of sheepdogs instead of using just his quad bike!
