I love it when you walk into a place feel immediately welcome, but also find a photograph waiting to be taken. I've passed David's shop, Frog, in the Northern Quarter, once or twice, but always been too busy to drop in. I have a weakness for flower shops and could easily spend days just looking at flowers. Today I had the luxury of a few spare hours to browse in town so I thought I'd explore. Charming and filled with sensuous detail, David's beautiful shop has a very Berlinesque feel to it. We stood and talked about the French alps, where he's from, and it reminded me of winters: the taste of the air when it's snowy & the smell of pine trees.
