Flowers

Just because I felt like blipping flowers tonight. No other reason than it seems a few days since I've done any and I love having them in the house.

Yesterday Ali had a trip to the vet. Thanks for wishing her well. The vet decided not to remove any teeth (don't you hate it when they plonk their dentures in a glass of water beside you), as Ali has lost some weight and can't keep food down. The vet was waiting for the results of a urine and blood test before giving an anaesthetic to a thirteen year old.

The blood sample she was able to take herself, the urine sample she has left for us to collect and get it to her within FOUR hours! So, a special litter tray is set up with special non-absorbent granules! Fine. The tray is down during the time The Man can bring the contents into town but has to be swapped for the usual one at times when he can't.

Amazingly she has gone all day without using this tray, this is the cat who comes indoors specially to use the tray! The weekend lies ahead so we will have to try again on Monday. It was so much easier last time when she chose to relieve herself on the vet's examination table.
