Those Magnificent Men

This is a back blip for yesterday.

Had a really lovely day. Went for a picnic with Peter and Paula from work and their families ie Paula's husband, Steve, and Peter's wife, Isabelle, and 6 year old daughter, Martyna. We went to Druridge Bay and spent the afternoon on one of Northumberland's many stunning beaches. It was warm, but also windy, and towards the end of the afternoon was actively chilly, and rather cloudy. But it was while we were huddling in the dunes hiding from the wind that a whole series of these flying machines came overhead! A most bizarre and sort of antiquated sight!

Yesterday continued to be a good day as I went out for cocktails in Durham with my friends Laura and Tamsin having been put in the mood when we went to see the Sex and the City film on Friday. Yes, we are such typical girls, but it was fun!
