Strepy and Jed

Strepy and Jed were our children's pets. They were delightful and rewarding and a very special part of our home.

Jed used to join the boys and their friends playing football on the field at the back of our house, once rendered John speechless when he caught one of the goldfish in the pond, would assert his power and get Strepy to move off my lap when he thought it was his turn, and was too adventurous for his own good and came to a sad end at a young age when he took on a car for the second time.

Strepy lived for 18 years and was a good companion in the house, coming to greet anyone who came in, and she very much enjoyed people's company. She died a year ago.
