old man

simba is my mother-in-law's cat - he's 18 and has three legs...he looks like such an old man now with his cloudy eyes, clammy fur and whiskers that turn down the way. he's lost his voice too, so he paws you or, if he can reach, bites your nose to get attention. he's huge and was a real bird and mice killer in his day - the fact that he has three legs never stopped him (although he did get blown over occasionally if the wind was strong!). what a good natured cat simba is.

so, today is lisa leggat's birthday - we went to the store for an ace lunch...should do that more often, great food. happy birthday lisa!
