Winter Sun

Having lived in London for 20 years, I rarely get to see low winter sun hitting anything but buildings. I was washing up in my dad's kitchen in the Lake District when the tree in the field opposite was lit up by a warm sun with a heavy grey sky as it's backdrop. I scarpered into the field with my camera to find that the sun was kissing the trees to the right too. I had about 60 seconds to take the 4 shots that make up this panorama, stitched them in Photoshop and tweaked the curves to emphasise the contrast...though not as much as you might think....honestly!
