Newark Castle

Before they let me loose on the poor unsuspecting elderly population of my area I have to do some training. Thursday saw me on my knees trying to resusitate a dummny who had obviously been dead for some time and had no limbs!!! It was called Annie but looked more like some of the men I have been out with!!!! Yep big bald and legless Anyway Friday I had to travel to Newark which is a small town on th edge of Nottinghamshire it has a nice shopping area and a small but good market but also this rather nice old castle and grounds overlooking the river.
The course went well it was understanding dementia (will pass the book on to my boys they may understand me a bit better then) and safeguarding vulnerable adults all in I found it very interesting the fact that the tutor is my sort of man YUMMY does help cant wait for next week will have to take a bib though as the drooling makes my top wet and soggy!!!!
