'Gezellig'

It's weekend and outside it's pouring and a storm razes through the streets. Hearing the rain on the window and the wind howling around our house, we sit inside - cozy and warm.

The good things of the beginning of the winter. The arrival of rain.

There is a Dutch word 'Gezellig' that is very hard to translate, meaning something between 'cozy' and 'having a good time'. 'Gezellig' has entered the vocabulary of my Israeli boyfriend, so he just told me thet he thinks that "winter is a very gezellig time."
