The Pentlands

A group of hills to the south of Edinburgh much over looked by the hill walking fraternity who prefer the West of Scotland, but I like them.
The hills offer several terrific routes which will take you through lochs (ok reservoirs) and heather and can be anything from 8 mile hikes to more gently walking.
