Helping children understand their world

We've all given up our Saturday to share ideas about how we can help children build their global understanding - see yesterdays blip and have spent the day at Wortley Hall.

We've had another very successful day together, and while a wedding took place next door in the large rooms of the hall (it was very poor weather outside), we worked away quite happily.

I was back home around 4.15pm. First a leisurely sit down with a cup of tea followed by a beer so and I'm now catching up with blipping.

Oh and the fireworks have just got going!

p.s. I don't do fireworks outside - the result of an unfortunate exposure to a 21 gun salute in Peasholm Park when I was less than two!
