Bangers x2

Fireworks Night and the usual ooohs 'n' aaahs and bangs were in abundance in our back garden thanks to Uncle D.

This, I think, was a rocket - we had the trusty compact on 'Fireworks' setting for the first time and must admit to having a preference for the dreamy light trail pics as opposed to the straightforward pin-sharp classic firework shots that were also on the memory card - not!

The other bangers were the edible kind - we surpassed all previous efforts with a plethora of sausage delights: Wild Boar & Apple, Cumberland, Black Pudding & Apple, Honey Roast Pork, Venison and last, but by no means least, Ostrich.

The kids, of course, had much better taste and demolished what seemed like a ton of 'Wee Willie Winkies' before the sparklers made an appearance.

Followed it up with the excellent 'Tangled' DVD whilst attempting to finish off L's superb Rocky Road, but full tums and time getting on started to take its toll on the adults children and we decided to call an end to an excellent day!
