Drumossie Hotel

An Inverness hotel situated on the old A9 which is now just a backwater. It has to my eyes a slightly Hercule Poirot look about it. It had a some renovations and extensions done a few years ago and now calls itself the new Drumossie Hotel and I think it's very popular with tour companies. New windows fitted at the time were easy to clean and energy conserving. Hercule P would doubtless understand the benefits but the Highland Council planners were not amused and wanted them changed for something more authentic (after all in HP's day window-cleaners were two-a-penny).
