Retinitis pigmentosa. A defect in the outer segment protein, opsin, of a photo-receptive cell. You lose peripheral vision and night vision, which is normally provided courtesy of a rod cell.

I am studying neuro.That is all I am doing these days. Hence, my own tunnel vision.

The visual system is amazing. neuro is amazing, but so overwhelming in just 5 short weeks. I can't comprehend everything I have memorized nor can I believe I am actually understanding standing some of it. Its complex and so cool.
