posh spork

A lovely evening with Mr F and Ms G, the food was very nice and the panettone bread and butter pudding even better and then there was the bottle of red wine and the prosecco..... The fireworks this year were fantastic, I think the council had spent even more money tried even harder and they were definitely the best I have seen here so far...all from the comfort of a balcony overlooking the park, perfect.

I tried to take shots of the fireworks, but none captured the beauty of what I saw there (even with tweaking) and after a short while, I just stopped and enjoyed the show instead. The 'spork' pictured belongs my hosts and was discovered on a trip to an antique store, there is a matching spoon and they might even be German. Why do I never find anything this pretty? I covet them.

Peaceful Sunday all, I might even blip today's roast pork lunch later :-)
