Yellow gorse

We had to be out very early this morning, as Sunday mornings are football mornings.

This morning we had a 45 minute drive to where Michael was playing, and it was cold .... very cold. The sky was very overcast, but as we drove through the Ashdown Forest, the yellow of the gorse flowers was so bright and cheery. It was like a sea of yellow in some places. As it was too cold to take pictures at football - I didn't want to take my gloves off - we stopped on the way home so I could get a picture of the yellow flowers to cheer me up .. an you as well I hope.
